John Wilsen is the Financial Controller for Mt. Logan Re, Ltd.

From April 2013 to April 2022, John worked for Beecher Carlson in captive management, and from 2018 held the position of Vice President, with responsibility for the Bermuda captive management operations.

John spent eight years working in public accounting, four and a half of which were spent working in the KPMG offices in Bermuda and the Isle of Man.

Prior to entering the world of accounting, John obtained a B.Sc. Agriculture degree majoring in viticulture and oenology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, in 2000. John graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting. John has been a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Professional Accountants Bermuda since 2008 and 2018, respectively.
